Find the total area of khiannas fish. Make use of symmetry and repeated calculations to simplify the problem. Include all of you work in your response

Part 2: constrict an image of an animal of your choosing ( something other than a fish) completely out of triangles and right triangles. Make sure that your image consists of at least eight shaped. At lest one of your shapes must be a rectangle and at least must be a right triangle.
Measure the sides of the individual shaped and find the total area of the composite figure.
Be sure to include in your response
• the “ animal” image you have created
• the computation you preformed finding the areas of the animals composite parts
• the total area of the figure

The triangle in the front has base [tex]2+2[/tex] and height [tex]4.5[/tex] so area [tex]\frac 1 2(2+2)(4.5)[/tex]

The top fin is [tex]\frac 1 2(2.25+0.75)(3)[/tex]

The back fin is [tex]\frac 1 2(4.5)(3+5)[/tex]

The bottom fin [tex]\frac 1 2 (1+.5)(1)[/tex]

The back of the fish by the tail, [tex]\frac 1 2 (2+2)(4.5)[/tex]

The four little triangles, [tex]4 (\frac 1 2 )(.5)(1.5)[/tex]

Two thin rectangles, [tex]2(.5)(5)[/tex]

One big rectangle  [tex](2+2)(1.5+5+1.5)[/tex]

Adding it all up

[tex]\frac 1 2 ( (2+2)(4.5) + (2.25+0.75)(3)+ (4.5)(3+5)+(1+.5)(1)+(2+2)(4.5)+4(.5)(1.5)) +2(.5)(5)+(2+2)(1.5+5+1.5) = 122.5[/tex]

Probably a mistake in there somewhere; check it good.
