The price could go up, it might not work then later down the road
Answer:
When a new technology has recently been launched, it tends to be very expensive. For example, cell phones 30 years ago were extremely expensive and using them was also very expensive. You paid your service a certain amount for calls you made and another amount for calls that you received. Also the phones themselves were also very large, heavy and expensive.
On the other hand, if an organization waits too long to adopt new technologies, it might be too late. Sears, JC Penny, Macy's, etc. used to be huge and were an essential part of almost everyone in America. Then Amazon came and instead of adopting internet sales, they insisted on their traditional sales structures. For example, Sears and Kmart currently have only 182 stores open, 15 years ago they had 3,500 stores open.
