Stone Age humans adapted to their environment during the last ice age through the following ways:
i) There was human mobility during the environmental changes that occurred during the Ice Age that increased over time. In response to these environmental changes, the last Ice Age caused the Stone Age humans and Neanderthals to expand their ranges across Western Eurasia in search of new resources as the climate shift took place.
ii) Stone Age humans living at the end of the last ice age endured climate change that was harsh, bitterly cold as Europe gradually warmed to become the forested continent that exists.
iii) The Stone Age human further used Land bridges which allowed the hominids to migrate to other new lands like Malaysia, the Americas, Japan, and Australia while cooler temperatures spawned the discovery and use of fire and development of clothes.
