Respuesta :

United States: federal republic in which the President, Congress and federal courts share powers reserved to the national government, according to its Constitution.

The judiciary, (composed of the Supreme Court and lower federal courts) has the function to interpret the United States Constitution and federal laws and regulations.

Citizens have the responsibility to support the government, pay taxes, participate in elections, and perform military service.

Babylon: the king ruled through a number of officials who were directly under and responsible to him. The monarchy was hereditary.

The king was the major authority in all areas except religion where he was subject to the dictates of the chief god as represented by his chief priest.

The Law Code of Hammurabi is well known for its "eye for an eye" style of lawmaking.  Women did not always receive equal treatment.
