Hi
That process is called translation in which rRNA reads the codons of mRNA and synthesized the proteins.
Translation makes it possible for a gene to express itself in a final and use-able form. Before translation. the process of transcription occurs in which sequence of nucleotides on DNA are changed into sequence of mRNA.
Below are some important steps of translation:
- Ribosomes (special organelles) bind to DNA at specific spots.
- Ribosomes match anti-codon sequence with codon of mRNA and bring it to the mRNA in the form of t-RNA or transfer RNA
- When the t-RNA comes to the ribosome it attaches correct amino acid ans starts creating polypeptide chain.
- Ribosomes continue this process and a complete polypeptide chain is formed.
- The polypeptide is changed into a functional protein and serves as basis of life.
Hope it help!
