Nicholas Machiavelli´s La Mandragola had very important characters, today we have special mention to two of them:
Callimachus, a young men Florentine resident of the city of Paris, who ends up obsessed with the beauty of a Florentine women he has heard but never seen in his life called Lucrezia.
Lucrezia, this woman is the obsession of our main character and she is married with an older doctor.
Machiavelli builds a text in which the love contest, with its exaltation and emergency situations, serve as a pretext to develop a practical and tasty treaty of political strategy, on the art of participation, manipulation, persuasion and finally, the conquest of a goal.
In this case, Lucrezia could be considered a victim, because, beyond the state of the relationship with her wife, is conquered by Callimachus, not for being loved, but for passion and desires reasons.
