Explanation:

Dendritic drainage - The steams show a branching tree like arrangement . These are developed in areas with uniform lithology, such as a sedimentary or massive igneous or metamorphic rock. It develops on almost horizontal, or very gently dipping strata. That is the surface is of very low relief.Such type of drainage pattern is very common in Himalayan region, Deccan plateau and glaciated low land region.

Trellis drainage - Here the major streams of an area are parallel and short tributaries join the main stream at almost right angle. It develops on region over folded and tilted strata. Unlike dendritic pattern the main stream develops in the strike valleys cut into the soft rocks, while tributaries flown down resistant ridges.
