Answer:

1) Draw the number line and marking the numbers from -6 - 6. (make sure they have equal distance between these points or use a proper scale/ measurements). eg:- centimetres

2) Make 10 equal divisions between each point.

3) the point in the centre of -5 and -4 is -4.5. Mark it as A.

4) the point in the centre of 2 and 3 is 2.5. Mark it as B.

5) then measure the distance between A and B that will be 2 units.

6) conclude that A and B represents -4.5 and 2.5 respectively and the distance between them is 2units.
