The provisional government which was setup by Duma was not successful.

Explanation:

  • Prince Georgy Lvov,was a famous Russian statesman formed this provisional government when the government of tstar was collapsed.
  • This government which was temporarily setup never really ruled Russia.  For this reason, it never was as successful as it excepted to be.
  • It also didn't carry any major reforms and it only managed to offer political freedom.
  • Thus we can easily come to a conclusion that the provisional government that was temporarily setup was not successful.
