“The Doctrina Christiana" is a religious book that was written as a translation to Christian songs and hymnals from Spanish into the native language of the FIlipinos.

Urbana at Feliza was compiled by a Reverend father In Cavite where tried to show examples of model character, behavior and attitudes for the people of Philippines to practise. It was compiled in 1864.

Both of these books were written during the American Period to support the Catholic church and its teachings.
