1 Govt policies- Beti Bachao( Beti Padhao, Ujwalla yojana , Swadhar greh(for women in difficult circumstances) , Step etc
2 Business - Kian Majumdar shaw ,chanda kochhar, Swati piramel and many other business women have justified that women are at par with men at every walk of life. Its just a matter of getting opportunities and creating opportunities , nothing else.
3 Sports - Saina Nehwal, Mary kom,PV sindhu Mithali raj , Geeta phogat etc. We all these shining stars and they need no introduction
4 Politics - Sushma swaraj, Nirmala sitharaman, vasundhara raje . These are the names which makes headlines almost everyday. Even reservation has been given to women at local level to increase their participation.
But the condition is not as rosy as it appears and we all know the reasons.
1 Security - Not even a six month baby is safe , everyday we get to read news of such heinous crime. Dowry is still not eradicated from society.
2 Disparity in education - I would like to mention that gender gap is reducing in higher education, thanks to govt policies and awareness among citizens. Despite such policies, a girl has to face many challenges. Usually they are being harassed by boys on their way to school and as a result they get banned from going to school . They are not safe in school also. All these problems leads to further restrictions on girls.

GIRLS FACE MORE PRESSURE OF MARRIAGE AS SOON AS THEY TURN 25.BOYS TOO FACE THE PRESSURE BUT NOT SO MUCH . THEY GET 3,4 YEARS EXTRA TIME
WOMEN MORE THAN MEN ADJUST THEIR CAREER FOR FAMILY LIFE
WOMEN GET PAID LESS THAN MEN IN VARIOUS SECTORS, DESPITE HAVING SAME QUALIFICATIONS
