i have long curly hair too :) so i can relate lol. I say don't straighten is cuz curly hair is better ;) and your hair would look more "cute" haha. I'd say go with french braids but two so like pig tail style, but leave strands of ur hair in the front so the curls are kind of hanging off yk? It would be sooooo cute!! :))) Hope you have a VERY happy 14th bday! and ik ur hair is gonna look great :))
