Answer: The Young Turks belived that the Armeniens were plotting with foreign powers to undermine the Ottoman Empire, so the young Turks did not stop any Muslim judges and law enforcment from discriminating against the Armeniens, as a result many Armeniens were stuck in a loop of poverty, after the defeat of the Ottoman Empire in the First Balkans War, millions of Muslims fled to Armenia thus causing more disbutes against the Armenians. After the defeat of Ottoman forces against Russians ot the Ottoman-Russian border, the Young Turks blamed the defeat on the Armenians, first by demobilizing the Armenian troops, sending them to labor divisions and then systematically murdering them. Shortly after this, irregular Ottoman forces began to slaughter Armenians. After the events that unfolded in Van, the Young Turk government removed all intellectual Armeniens from there jobs, and offices of power, and were then killed shortly after.
