Think about your plans for after high school. Are you going to get a job? Attend college? Take a gap year? Join the military? When you PICK ONE of these choices, all THE OTHER options become OPPORTUNITY COSTS.
First, describe your choice. Then, use this one choice to explain the opportunity costs and tradeoffs of that decision (what could you have done instead?) Are there any incentives that persuaded you to make that choice? (Note: if you don’t quite yet know exactly what you will do after school, pick one possibility and list the opportunity costs for it).
