The only statement which I've found correct is the first option represented above: one variable of a gas affects only one additional variable of the gas.  I choose this one because when one variable increases or changes in any measure the other should change the same constant rate. I hope it's clear, regards!

Answer: I used the one variable answer but got it wrong, so I think its the answer that says several variables.
