Asthma is a chronic condition in which an individual experiences episodes of narrowed or obstructed airways. Why would it be important to monitor the oxygen saturation of a person with severe asthma?

Because I have it and when they are wheezing it is hard to breathe and sometimes you even have to go to a hospital and get a ventilator

If they wheeze too much, it would be difficult to breath, therefore, keeping an eye on their breathing causes them to live a longer life.
