For the average women expends roughly 1,600 to 2,400 calories a day and the average male expends roughly 2,000 to 3,000 calories a day there isn't really exact how many calories your have to burn it will all depend on how tall you are, how much you weigh, how old you are etc.

I believe this is mostly dependent on what you eat but I’ll have an estimate around 3,500 everyday in order to lose exactly one pound but again this varies from person to person.
