We will use the tan ratio to get the value of 'y'.
hence, tan(30°) = 5/y
[tex]since \: \: \tan(30) = \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3} } [/tex]
so we use it here,
y = 5/tan(30)
===> hence,
[tex]y \: \: = 5 \sqrt{3} [/tex]
