Answer: Parasites are organisms that live on another organism to live. A parasite cannot survive without a host as it needs the nutrients from it. The protozoa is a parasite that often effects human beings and multiplies inside them. The protozoa often causes people to become ill with diseases such Malaria, dysentery and African sleeping sickness. Without us humans as nutrients these protozoa wouldn't be able to survive.
