Now, "7 times" - times would be multiplication, therefore it would be:
[tex]7(n+4)[/tex]

Notice there are parentheses ( ) around [tex]n+4[/tex]We need this because it's 7 times the SUM, and if you do not have parentheses, by Order of Operations (PEMDAS), it would not be multiplying by the sum, it would multiply just 'n', and not the rest.
