HELP ME OUT PLS!!!!

When three squares are joined at their vertices to form a right triangle, the combined area of the two smaller squares is equal to the area of the largest square. Which three squares are an example of this relationship?

HELP ME OUT PLS When three squares are joined at their vertices to form a right triangle the combined area of the two smaller squares is equal to the area of th class=

Respuesta :

The last 3 squares (ie D)

Sum of the area of the small two
= 11 + 5 =16 cm2

Area of the largest square
= L x L = 4 x 4 = 16 cm2

It is seen from both solutions that the areas are the same
Hence D is the answer
