In order to multiply fractions, you must multiply the numerators together and the denominators together. In other words, multiply 5 by 3 and put it over 8 times 4. In the end you should get 15/32
[tex] \frac{5}{8} [/tex] × [tex] \frac{3}{4} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{15}{32} [/tex]
Multiply the numerators together (5 * 3 = 15)
Multiply the denominators together (8 * 4 = 32)
Multiply the numerators together (5 * 3 = 15)
Multiply the denominators together (8 * 4 = 32)
