The Egyptian Book of the Dead tells us about the beliefs of Egyptian people about the death and the life after death while on the other hand, Herodotus writings are about the historical events. The book helped the people of Egypt to prepare for the afterlife where the god of the underworld named Osiris would judge them so we can conclude that both Herodotus and the Egyptian Book of the Dead comes from the Egypt so it help us to explain the key aspects of Egyptian culture.
