Giving a reward whenever a child with conduct disorder is displaying obedience and did exactly what was asked is a technique that is a part of a behavior therapy.
In the field of psychology, a conduct disorder in children is defined as a repetitive pattern of negative behaviors which are not considered common or normal behaviors among children. Examples of a conduct disorder are bullying, physical aggression, lying, cruelty towards living beings, obsession with fire and setting things on fire, etc. These conduct disorders have underlying issues stemming from abandonment, mental health issues, stress and depression, abuse, and many other factors. One therapy that proves to be beneficial in reducing the occurrence of the negative behaviors would be of a behavior therapy in which by giving a reward whenever the child is showing obedience or any other positive behavior thus reinforcing the positivity and altering the tendency of the children from showing negative behaviors and actions.
