Scientists have discovered a new planet with many craters. Which of the following would be an appropriate hypothesis? The craters on the planet indicate that the planet can support life. The craters on the planet indicate that the planet has an atmosphere. The craters on the planet indicate that the planet cannot support life. The craters on the planet indicate that the planet does not have an atmosphere.

Respuesta :

Indicates that the planet does not have an atmosphere. If the planet had an atmosphere is would erode away at the meteors before they hit the surface.
D. The craters on the planet indicate that the planet does not have an atmosphere.

Our atmosphere automatically burns up most of the meteors that come flying our way, but on those that don't, they don't have an atmosphere to burn up the meteors. Then, obviously, answer C will be next, you can't live very well on a planets that has giant balls headed your way.

I hope this is correct! :)
