Identify one political and one economic cause of the Great Depression. How did each of these factors contribute to the worldwide economic crisis that shook the world during the 1930s?

Respuesta :

One political cause, which could also be related to economic causes, is the Federal Reserve System, which is the nation’s central bank.

The Great Depression was the greatest crisis experienced by the United States in all of history, causing a large contraction of GDP, rising unemployment and inflation.

One political cause: the government's incentive for banks to provide credit to encourage production.

An economic cause: the overproduction of manufactured goods was so great that it did not find internal or external demand for the disposal of the products.

These two causes are totally intertwined, since the lack of demand has caused the companies to suffer losses and to break, giving a default on the banks and contaminating the financial system as a whole.
