This is simple. You have to find the LCD here, on the fractions. The whole numbers you can just add together (whole numbers=5 and 2 in this case)
5+2=7. Your first number is 7
Find the LCD (Least common denominator) of 6 and 10. Do this by multiplying 6 by anything that comes to mind, and then multiply 10 by anything that comes to mind. The LEAST large outcome that is the SAME for both numbers is the LCD. 10 is easy, so let's only focus on 6. Think, what times 6 equals a number between 1-100 (just an example)
Well, 6*5=30. 10*3=30. DING!!
Now, your fractions look like: 5 5/30 divided by 2 1/30
What you do to the denominator you have to do to the numerator. Now, take 5 and multiply it by 5 (because for the denominator, 6*5=30)
Take 1 and multiply it by 3 (because for the denom. 10*3=30)
NOW you have: 5 and 25/30 divided by 2 and 3/30
Now just add!
5+2=7, 25 and 3=28, and the denominators don't change
Your answer is 7 and 28/30
~Hope this helps!
