Jayden sows pea seeds and watches them grow into seedlings. To better understand photosynthesis, he keeps one pea plant under green light and the other pea plant under yellow light. What would likely be the result in a few days?

The photosynthetic pigment of plant, chlorophyll, cannot absorb the green light and reflects it back. Hence, the pea plants kept under green light would not be able to carry out photosynthesis due to absence of light supporting the process. On the other hand, the plants kept under yellow light would exhibit better rate of photosynthesis and would exhibit better growth and development.
