"El hermana es rico" is written incorrectly. Remember that articles have to match the gender of the subject. "El" is masculine whereas "La" is feminine. So it should be "La hermana." Also, "rico" should be written as "rica" to match the subject "hermana." 
 Girl words would be la, ella, las, and amigas. but C. has the wrong word, it used El so the Answer would be C.
