A prince must be war wise, so he can handle the art of war. He must be noble and kind hearted to be both feared and loved. He must also be aware of his surroundings, so he can spot any developing problems or advantages. He must have good fortune. Also, he must be observant of the men he has around him, he needs close watch on the servants, subjects and friends. He must have wisdom, to be a wise general. He must be cunning to avoid hatred and despise. He must keep faith in others to a minimum, since it can be broken easily. He also must be brave and strong.
