Explain how sound waves differ from light waves ?

Microwaves include what other form of waves ?

Thanks if you can help me !

Light and water waves are transverse waves.
A wave in which the vibration of particles in the medium which is perpendicular to the direction of the propagation of waves.
Light waves : vibration of electrons in an atom.
Water waves : Vibration on a still water surface.
Sound waves are longitudinal waves are slower than light waves, and do not travel through a vacuum. This is why you see a lightning before you hear it.
Electromagnetic waves :
-Oscillation between the electric field and the magnetic field.
-A type of transverse waves
-Do not require a medium, able to travel in vacuum.
-In vacuum, they travel at the speed of light (c =3x10^8 ms/1)
-The energy is transferred by the waves
-Includes : radio wave, microwave, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, x-rays, gamma rays.
