The general populations of
the Indus Valley, some of them were farmers and peasants. They developed
products like grain, peas, wheat, dates, and melons. The homesteads were not
only for one product, some developed cotton and raised sheep, pigs, and dairy
cattle. Each town had its own stockpiling structures to hold what that town
required. There was not a single ruler however a few people who administered
there possessed lands. Huge amounts of craftsmanship were found in the sights.
Those who had lived there more likely delighted in observing and making art.
