The statement “force equals mass times acceleration” is Newton’s second law of motion. Why is this a law rather than a theory?

This is classified as LAW because is something that happen in nature is not just an idea of how and why something work. And this has many evidences to justify it so it can't be consider a theory; because theory is an a ideology of how and why something work with evidences, and law is something true and accurate that we observe in nature with evidences as well but is something that happen so that's the difference between a theory and a law
