Melting snow ponds and water found in rolls are examples of Surface water
Surface water is liquid on the surface of the planet such as in a stream, pond, wetland, or sea. It can be distinguished with groundwater and meteorological water.
Non-saline surface water practices are provided by rainfall and by from ground-water. It is dissipated through distillation, leakage into the area where it becomes ground-water, utilized by plants for transpiration, obtained by mankind for cultivation, living, industry etc. or released to the sea where it turns to be saline.
