There are less than 200 apples in a box. it is known that 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 kids can share these apples evenly. how many apples can be in that box?

Respuesta :

Hi!

200 ÷ 2 = 50

200 ÷ 3 = 66.6 repeat.

200 ÷ 4 = 50

200 ÷ 5 = 40

200 ÷ 6 = 33.3 repeat.

So, there can be either 50 or 40 apples in that box.
It has to be a multiple of 30 such as 60, 90, 120 etc but I am not sure from there
