Lutherhaus, where Martin Luther lived from 1508 to 1546, was built in 1504 as a house of Augustinian Hermits and soon after became the Reformer's home. Luther was living here when he wrote his 95 Theses. The 95 theses were very important to the renaissance. It was martin Luther’s stand against the rules. He nailed the 95 theses to the churches door because he didn’t like how the church was running things.
