Lateral surface area of a cylinder is,

1st we need to calculate for the radius.
[tex]r = \frac{d}{2} = \frac{12}{2} = 6[/tex]
The radius is always half of the diameter and in this case is 6.
[tex]l \: = 2 \times \pi \times 6 \times 20[/tex]
[tex]l = 240\pi[/tex]
[tex]l = 753.98224[/tex]
Lateral surface area is
≈ 753.98 or ≈ 754.
