Use the formula; y2-y/ x2-x
where (3=x, 1=y) and (0= x2, -5=y2)...
(-5-1) / (0-3) = -6/-3 which is 2.
So the slope is 2.
And if you want to find the y-intercept it's -5.
Because the y-intercept is when the line hits the y-axis, and so on since its (0,-5) and the x is 0, the y-intercept is -5.
