Things Fall Apart is a novel written by Chinua Achebe in 1958. It is one of the first modern African novel in English that has raised to global success that is widely studied both in Africa and in Westerns Countries. The title of the novel comes from a line in W. B. Yeats' poem "The Second Coming".
The protagonist of the book is Okonkwo, an Igbo leader and describes his family, personal history, and the culture of Igbo people.
