if you are talking about A-F in the first section, than you take the angle measurement and subtract it by 180. Then that will give you a missing part of the triangle. You add those two values together and that will equal x.

For answers a-f, all the triangles are 180°, to find x, subtract the other degrees to 180.
However, some degrees are shown on the outside, that means you need to find the degree of the angle.
Basicly, for "a", it shows 125° on the outside, now we need to find what degree is on the inside. We can find that out knowing a straight line is a 180° angle. Looking back at the problem, we have the degree 125 because that's the outside degree angle of the triangle. To find the inside angle, subtract the 180° and 125° angle and THAT WILL BE THE ANGLE FOR THE INSIDE OF THE TRIANGLE! Then solve.
