Just use the order of operations. PEMDAS, parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition and subtraction.

In the first problem 2 + 6*3^2, there are no parentheses, so next would be exponents.
There is an exponent so you do that first.
3^2 = 9

Now we have 2 + 6*9
Multiplication is next and it is in the problem, so we do 6*9 = 54
So now we have 2 + 54 which equals 56.

Remember the PEMDAS

Parenthesis and exponents

Multiplication and division

Addition and subtraction
Here is the first problem

2+6*3^2

You would start with the 3^2 and that is basically 3*3=9

2+6*9

then you would do the 6*9=54

2+54

then you would simply add them and you would get 56

A.56

Second problem

3*4^2-2*6

This one looks complicated but its just as easy as the first problem.

4^2 is like 4*4=16

3*16-2*6

so the next step would to be multiply the 3*16=48

48-2*6

then you would multiply the 2*6=12

48-12=36

B. 36

Hope this helps you!
