What details in the text reveal to you that Battuta and other travelers were treated well by the people of Mogadishu?

Respuesta :

In 1331 Ibn Battuta sailed to the East African Coast and found Mogadishu, modern-day Somali. The town was large with rich merchants with large herds of camel and sheep. The people manufactured textiles and while in Mogadishu the Sultan sent two welcome gifts; areca nuts, a plate of betel leaves and a vial of Damascus water for rinsing his hands which reflected existence o far-flung commercial trade.
They eat rice cooked with ghee, dishes of kusham composed o chicken, fish, meat and vegetables, apples, green bananas, mangoes and fresh milk.
