What is the diagnosis?: when 32 year old brian talks he sounds logical on the surface, but what he discusses doesn't really make sense. he doesn't seem to care about his personal hygiene, and others don't like to be around him because of this. he's also mentioned that his limbs are growing larger and that he is losing too much brain fluid whenever he blows his nose. brian's specific diagnosis is called and falls under the category of?

Brian’s specific diagnosis is called and falls under the category of schizophrenia.  In this patients basic needs such as hygiene and nutrition is neglected. Hallucinations, delusions or disorganized speech is the symptoms of the patients. Schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders distract the patient to define what is real and what is not.
