There are many examples to clarify this concept. We can take this example when generally people are driving without fasting the seat belts, and they see a traffic constable, an they at once fasten their belts. They actually modify their careless behavior to a careful, more appreciated behavior after being aware of the fact that they are being analyzed or observed by the constable.
