Why do you think the lynching of Emmett Till became a catalyst in the national movement for civil rights?

Respuesta :

Emmett Till was an African-American child who lived in the north and visited the south. When he was brutalized and murdered, it sparked a movement to stop violence like this. I included a picture of Emmett Till to give you an idea.

He was brutally murdered for no good reason, except that he was black. It wasn't fair and people wanted things to change.
