Answer: Seed dispersal are various ways plants transport their seeds from one point to another for germination.

Plants use different ways/methods to disperse or transport their seeds.some of those ways include;

- Spinning or gliding through the air(ballistic method). these are rounds or spherical seeds that can comfortably roll without any obstruction.

- Floating in the air (wind method).Seeds that disperse by this method are seeds that are very light and weightless and can float comfortably in water.

- Floating in water (water method) Seeds that float in water for dispersal are light and buoyant fruits like coconut that can comfortable float in water without sinking.

- Explosion and release of seed content into the air from the point of the parent plant (gravity method)

- Some seeds are being dispersed by animals which carry them from one point to another.(animal method).Animals disperse sweet and juicy seeds by swallowing them and excreting them or vomitting them in other places where they germinate and grow.

Seed dispersal is a response to environmental stimuli,if seeds are not dispersed,they will grow in one place which will bring about competition of the same specie and discourage diversity and also seed dispersal give room for seeds to germinate and grow to adult matured plant stage without being preyed on by predators.
