There will be 4 times the number of M&M's to the number of sunflower seeds according to the ratio.

Using this, we can create a proportion.

[tex]\frac{4}{1}=\frac{2}{x}[/tex]

[tex]x=\frac{1}{2}[/tex]

There will be [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex] pounds of sunflower seeds needed, or 8 ounces.
