I chose A because the obvious, the pronoun "I" always indicates first person, especially if it's not being used in quotations which signifies that another character is referring to themselves.

And I also chose D because the author isn't just recounting any random event that could have happened to another character instead, instead they are recounting an event that they had specifically experienced.
